Thomas M. Perry Sr.

Thomas M. Perry, Sr., 66, of Liberty, passed away December 23, 2014. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30 a.m., Monday, December 29th at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas 66112. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Home of Missouri, 6033 Masonic Drive, Suite A, Columbia, Missouri 65202.

Tom was born September 12, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to James and Margaret Perry. He graduated from Washington High School and married Judith in 1967. Tom worked for 30 years as a Branch Manager for ABF Freight System. He was a longtime member of the Saxton Lodge 508, a former President of the Kansas City and St. Joseph Traffic Club, and a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene. Tom’s first love was his wife, children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed golf, boating, and could always be counted on to cheer for the Chiefs, Royals and Jayhawks.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, David and Phillip. Tom is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judith A. Perry; his sons, Thomas M. Perry, Jr. (Tonya), and Jeffrey W. Perry (Angela); his daughter, Julie A. Lowe (Jeff); six grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
