Vera Jensen, 88 passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024 in Kansas City, KS. Graveside service will be held Thursday @ 1:00 pm, January 2, 2025 at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 701 N. 94th Street, Kansas City, KS.
Vera worked for TWA in New York City, Cocoa Beach and St. Louis, MO where she spent the most part of her career. She retired and moved to Parkville, MO in 2001. Vera was a fun loving, feisty Aunt who never missed a birthday or holiday party. She enjoyed the benefits of working for an airline and traveled to Europe many times in her life.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents Christian and Agnes Jensen, sister Helen Jenicke and brother John Jensen. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Piper & Elevate Hospice for the compassionate care given to Vera over the last 3 months. She will be greatly missed.
