Viola “Vi” L. (New) Pike, 98, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Providence Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 18th at The Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 North 94th Street, Kansas City, Kansas. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Sunset Memory Gardens, 16731 Springdale Road, Leavenworth, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Vi was born November 24, 1915 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Oliver and Carrie (Saunders) New. Survivors include 3 daughters, Peggy Pike, Carol Eddins and Barbara Cowan.
