Friday, we laid to rest a man we lovingly called 👑King Daddy, Wesley Charlie Hatfield, Our Patriarch the Head of the Hatfield Family. A man who devoted his life to his true ❤️ love, Kathy Hatfield and their two boys Wes Hatfield and Ross Hatfield. Kathy Hatfield and I had the pleasure of marrying into this wonderfully, kind and generous family. We have spent the last 30+ years making memories. Good times traveling to Branson, Disney and finally the cruises of a lifetime. The Annual, sometimes Semi-Annual cruises will be in our hearts and minds forever. It will be a tradition we pass on to our children, who will pass them along to their children. 
As our family grew, so did our adventures. Even dialysis couldn’t prevent Charlie Hatfield from missing a family vacation. Full luxury; balconies, gold cards, personal hot tubs, Diamond Club, Chauffeurs...first class all the way. A man from the humblest of beginnings, you sure showed us love. Here’s to you King Daddy, Charlie Hatfield 🥂 until we meet again. 💕


So sorry for your loss. I remember the many fun and exciting July 4th celebrations at your place with all the family. We had so much fun and I have so many memories. Sending you all so much love and many prayers as you go through this time of grief.

We are so sorry to hear about Charlie's passing.  I have so many fun and loving memories of Charlie - from being a little girl and visiting my Dad at work - looking around every corner for Charlie to jump out and grab me - to growing up being teased and loved by him.  Even as an adult he loved to tease me and always made me feel special.

I’ve know Charlie since grade school and him and my husband grew up together off Quindaro. He was a great guy and always fun to be around. Him and Kathy were a very special couple, very involved in children’s ministry and loved their family going on yearly cruises together. He will be so missed. Love and prayers to you all. Sorry to hear of Charlie's passing.   I have many fond memories as a little girl hanging out at Charlie and Kathy's!  

Kathy, Wes, and Ross, so sorry to hear about Charlie.  He will be greatly missed.  I remember all the times he helped at church with the children showing them what the love of Christ is all about.  He had the most loving and fun personally and the children just loved him.    His memories will always be cherished.  Praying for all of you during this time and thanking the Lord for the hope of being together again in a much greater place. We are saddened to hear of Charlie’s passing!   We looked up to and appreciated Charlie and Kathy for the wonderful work they did in helping to teach our small children at Aldersgate!  They not only taught the  kids about Jesus and his love but showed Christ’s  love  each time the kids entered their classroom!  We’ll always remember Charlie’s smile and fun personality!
