

William D. “Bill” Randolph, 78, of KCK, passed away August 3, 2017. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2017 at Chapel Hill – Butler Funeral Home, 701 N. 94th St., KCK. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2017 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Wyandotte United Methodist Church or the Special Olympics.
Bill was born December 16, 1938 in Kansas City, Kansas to Dillard and Sarah Randolph. He attended Argentine High School and got his GED while serving in the Air Force. Bill married the love of his life, Patsy Bledsoe while serving in the military in the early 60’s. He worked for over 40 years for General Mills and was a member of the Union. Bill was very active in his church, Wyandotte United Methodist Church; he was instrumental in starting the Special Needs services as well as assisting with yardwork and maintenance. He also volunteered at a food kitchen once a month. Bill enjoyed watching the Royals and Chiefs and was a very generous and caring husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dillard and Sarah Randolph; his sister, Wilma Fay Randolph; and his brother, Dillard Randolph, Jr.
Bill is survived by his wife, Pat Randolph; his daughters, Tina and Melissa Randolph; his siblings, Harold Randolph, Edwin “Corky” Randolph, Fred Randolph, Earl Dean Randolph, and Willa May Tharpe; his brother and sister-in-law, Don and Jacque Bledsoe; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
