Al...miss ya and these are the times that most forget. It is not a few weeks, few months, few years and for some a few decades - it takes a very long time to get over the shock. 
I was upset and now let it go. You wanted to visit and I said, "NO" - seems I was right and you were about to go, for that reason I told you the kids needed you more than I. God bless you Bro and yes. Only you and I know what that means.

I bet you had no idea just how many of your family and friends loved you so deeply.  Your service to our Country went above and beyond and you were most definitely loved by many. I don't think you ever realized the impact you had on people's life. You left us so suddenly and everyone you touched and the people who loved you is enormous.  You were one of the funniest persons I know.  Wish you were here, but you're where God meant for you to be. In my eyes you are my American Hero. I am proud you are my cousin. Very proud. Love and miss you Albert.

I had failed to leave my name on my post on the 20th. I am Keith L Allen of North Platte, NE. I knew Albert most of my life through school. I would have been honored to serve beside him. HOOAH, and RIP.

I am truly sorry for your loss, and your family is in my prayers. I was Albert's Platoon Leader during OIF III.  He was a very good Soldier.

Amy, I am so very, very sorry for your loss!  I am praying and sending loads of positive energy for you, Michael, Stephanie, and Aidan.  I know that God will wrap His arms around you during this time of sorry!

I was so saddened to hear that Al had passed away so suddenly.  He was one of the first people we met when we moved into the complex at Northland Village.  He'd never seen us before, but he walked right up to me and introduced himself, smile on his face and a big warm handshake. He was a great neighbor, always with a funny joke or anecdote.  I'll always remember the late nights around the fire pit! R.I.P. my friend.  You will be missed dearly by all who knew you.

RIP Albert....I will always remember reconnecting on facebook and sharing of the joy and love you have for your family.  Prayers for Amy and your children....always.

Albert, I am shocked to hear of your passing. Saddened even further by not hearing until today. I will pray for your family. Thank you for your service to this country. Albert was a great person and will be missed dearly. i went to school with him and he made me laugh and always found a way to bring me up when i was down.  he will be missed and thanks for ur services in tour of duty again u are an angle

Al was my neighbor for a few years at Northland Village.  I first met him and his family at the pool in 2010.  Al loved having his friends and family come over for barbecues or just to hang out.  I spent a lot of time at his home.  He was always willing to help out a friend!  My heart aches for Amy, Michael, Stephanie, and Aidan!  It still blows my mind that Al is gone!  He will never be forgotten!
