Alice C. Turner

Alice C. Turner, 95, of Kansas City, MO., passed away July 23, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 4101 E. 105th Terr., Kansas City, MO on Saturday, July 25, 2015. Visitation will be the same day from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., at the church. Entombment will follow the mass at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Alice was born March 17, 1920 in Clements, MN. She was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. She worked part-time for many years at Macy’s at the Landing and at Red Bridge and volunteered for St. Joseph Hospital in the gift shop.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, William, who died in 2002. She is survived by her sister, Margareta Bertrand, SSND, Mankato, MN; and her six children: Margaret Turner; John (Becky) and their children, Sarah, Diana, Caroline, Teresa; Rev. Paul Turner; Michael and his children, Jeff (Marta Ramón), Julie (Ben) Keech, Bryan, Katie (Dan) McKernan, Danny (Luciane Silva), and Jonathan, and their mother Cindy Turner; Thomas Turner (Maria Simental) and her children, Christian, Christopher, Patricia and Jennifer Morales; Mary (Randy Willis) and their children, Helen and Amanda. Alice’s great-grandchildren are Oscar and Anna Turner-Ramón, Mallory, William, and Bret Keech, Yana Turner, Molly and Annie McKernan.

The family expresses its thanks to the Sisters, staff and friends at Little Sisters of the Poor.
