Alyce was born September 29, 1926, in Summerfield, Kansas. She graduated from Fairbury High School in 1944, while living with an aunt, Matty Taylor, and soon after moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. She later met the love of her life, Allen Baer, and they were married in Wahoo, Nebraska, on October 2,1953. They resided in Kansas City, Missouri, where Alyce was employed as a bank teller. Alyce and Allen were blessed with a son, Robert Allen. She moved to Beatrice, Nebraska in 2019, where she resided until her passing.
Preceded in death by son, Robert Allen, in 1991; husband, Allen, in 1995; parents Vilas and Lula (Taylor) Miller, brothers Kenneth Miller and Perry Miller, and sister Margueritte Zimmerman.
Alyce is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on April 29, 2025, at GlenHaven Church, Kansas City, Missouri, with visitation at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial to follow at Terrace Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.
