Andy was born February 19, 1963 in Kansas City, MO to Joe Klassen and Nellie (Nielsen) Klassen. Andy was an exceptional artist. From artistic and abstract drawings to being a Bass Guitar player who could replicate any sound within minutes by ear. No sheet music, whatsoever. He experimented with many instruments including the drums but found true love in the Bass Guitar. In his free time, he would draw things you could only imagine was made by a computer. Without any tools, freehandedly could create with the most symmetrical vision on paper in less than an hour, using only a pencil or pen and the image in his head. His passion was creativity. Everything he was passionate about he did with ease. He was light-hearted, and very funny if you knew him well. A person you were proud to know, even more proud to love.
Andy was preceded in death by his father, Joe Klassen. He leaves behind his daughter, Nicole Klassen; stepson, Michael Light; his mother, Nellie Klassen; sister, Kris Ann Huber; and brother, David Klassen; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws, including his nephew and caregiver, Jonathan Klassen.
