Annette was preceded in death by her husband, James Shobe; her parents, Sam and Lena (Orlando) Lombardino; and her son, Gary Palermo.
Her life's work was caring for her husband and three children. She had a close and loving relationship with them always.
Annette enjoyed life, entertaining, traveling, Bridge, and other card games. She enjoyed traveling with her tennis buddies to tournaments and had many wonderful friends. She and Jim spent many wonderful winters in their Florida home.
She leaves her son, Ronald (Cheryl) Palermo; her daughter, Cynthia Palermo; granddaughter, Aubra (Bruce) Palermo; and great-granddaughter, Sybil (Steve) Mallonee; brother, Louis Lombardino; and many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Annette's wishes a visitation will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Church of the Ascension, 9510 W 127th St, Overland Park, KS 66213, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 am. A private burial will occur immediately following.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Church of the Ascension or to the charity of your choice.
