Antonio Justo Diaz Sr.

Antonio “Tony” Justo Diaz Sr., 46 of Kansas City, passed away on June 18, 2014. Visitation will be held at McGilley Midtown, 20 W. Linwood Blvd. KCMO from 5-7 p.m., Rosary at 7p.m., Thursday June 26. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 27 at Redemptorist Church, 3333 Broadway KCMO at 9:30 a.m. Interment in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, KS Tony was born in Kansas City, KS to Carmen Diaz-Buffaloe and Edward F. Diaz, Sr. on September 28, 1967. Tony graduated from Winnetonka H.S. in 1986 and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He was owner/ operator of 2X4 Construction. Tony enjoyed family, friends, baseball, playing pool, and always enjoyed a cold beer. Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin and Mary Diaz and Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Mary Aguilar. He is survived by his mother, Carmen Diaz-Buffaloe; his father, Edward F. Diaz, Sr.; his sons, Antonio J. Diaz Jr. (Colleen) and Esteban “Chris” Diaz Sr. ; mother of sons, Carolyn Franco; his twin brother, Edward F. Diaz Jr. (Jenny);brothers, Benjamin Diaz and Anthony Amador (Abby). He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Esteban “Chris” Diaz, Jr. & Isabella Rose Diaz; his nephews and nieces, Edward F. Diaz, III, Drew A. Diaz, Gabriel B. Diaz, Adrianna Diaz & Alexandra Diaz; great-nephews, Edward F. Diaz IV, Andrew Zimmerman, Benjamin Diaz III; and great-niece, Antonia P. Diaz.
