Archie Ray Templeton, 94, Oak Grove, MO, passed away Sept 19, 2012 at Golden Living Nursing Home, Independence, MO. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday, Sept 24th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel with burial in East Slope Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 - 5:00 PM Sunday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Archie was born February 23, 1918 in Hodge, MO. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired in 1981 from Corn Products, Inc. of North Kansas City, MO. He attended Grace Baptist Church. Archie was preceded in death by 3 children, Elsie, Susan and Raymond Templeton.
Survivors include his wife Ruth of the home; 6 children, Sharon (Bob) Bottom of NV, Robert (Debbie) Templeton of NC, Tim (Deb) Templeton of IN, Jennifer (Vince) Jones of NE, Gina (Craig) Poncelow and Michelle Templeton, both of Kansas City; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
