Arla Belle Neville Cameron, 93, Kansas City, Missouri passed away January 8, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Arla was born June 16th, 1923 in Clinton Township, Iowa, daughter of Romie and Verna (Smith) Neville. She married Noble Cameron on January 11th, 1942 in Fort Worth, Texas. They had seven children which they raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Arla and Noble opened their home to anyone who needed a warm meal or a place to sleep. Their love carried on through the generations and raised several of their grandchildren as well.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, two sons Wayne and Ricky Lynn and two daughters Deborah and Carla Ann. Arla is survived by her three sons Noble Lester, Robert Lee and Ken Lyle, as well as two sisters Eula and Marlys, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
