To the Loeb and Paxon family.  Im so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother, daughter, sister and friend.  I met Audrey while working at Hadley Medical Center in Hays Ks where I am originally from.  Audrey and I quickly became friends and spent a lot of time together.  When Audrey needed to go out of town for school I would baby sit for Madison and Matthew.  When she was on call I would do the same staying over night so someone was with you.  I know she loved you deeply and couldn't wait to get back home to you.  She would come in the house, drop her suitcase and run to both of you and pick you up, smother you in kisses while saying mommie missed you.  I did not know Mitchell as I moved to Oklahoma City before you were born.  She was a beautiful girl who excelled in her career and her personal life.  Due to a new job I was unable to get away for the service but be assured my heartfelt prayers and thoughts were being sent to all of you.  Ill miss her laughter and that beautiful smile.  Im so thankful she was a part of my life back there as she made such an impact on my future.  God now has an extra angel to help him hang out the stars at night. To the children of Audrey, who are now young adults -I'm so sorry you have to experience such great loss at such tender ages. Knowing Audrey and your Aunt Laurie in their teens, I KNOW what kind of young person your mother was. She was funny, talented, intelligent, and so very kind. She was also a person of integrity. She was a good student, she was a fair player, and a fun spirit. Knowing her then, and reading the previous comments, I can tell she was a loving, caring and responsible mother. She raised you with everything she knew to be true, honest and 'right,' is my suspicion. She has already equipped you, with God's help, to be the young adults you are. THAT is her legacy !  THAT is her blessing ! In this time of sorrow, hold on to the joys, the laughter, the memories she's left you. You will never stop missing her, but know this --she is never but a whisper away. Learn to feel her arms around you in your day to day tasks. She will be there-- cheering, loving, and guiding you on. Trust God to lead you through the pain.  

To the Paxons, to Laurie & Bernie, and to Roberta - my heartfelt prayers are with you.  I thought of you all, just a few weeks ago when back in western KS. Please know you are being remembered in this hour of need as well.

To Matthew, Madison and Mitchell,
   You were everything to your Mother. There is nothing I can say or do, to help with the pain that you are going through. I do know that your Mother's  main concern and focus in her life was  about your happiness.
  I had the pleasure of working with your Mother for around 8 years.  We worked hard but we played hard as well.  We enjoyed traveling together with Dr. Crouse.  The trips we took to California, Chicago, Florida ( i think at least 5 times to florida)  Washington DC  etc...   they were some of the best times of my life.  I have a big smile on my face when I remember all the fun we had.  She knew how to enjoy life to the fullest.
  That is the Audrey that I love,  remember and will hold close to my heart.

We knew Audrey while she lived in Hays, she was a wonderful person and proud mother.  Our sympathy goes out to her entire family, she will be missed

I admire my cousin Audrey for so many reasons - her physical beauty but more importantly her great inward strength and contagious spirit.  For this reluctant city girl, my fondest memories will be of fun filled summer vacations exploring the Kansas farm enjoying kittens in the barn, rides during the wheat harvest, discussions of boyfriends over big bowls of popcorn, and yes, even scary spider collections.  Audrey's valiant fight was a huge encouragement to me some years back when I was experiencing health issues.  While distance has separated us recent years, I already miss her greatly.

To the Loeb Family, There aren't enough words to say how sorry I am for the loss of your Mom,Sisiter,Daughter, Aunt and Friend. I know how much she loved and was loved by all, please know that you are being  carried on the prayers of those who care about you all. ~Linda LaBranch

I knew Audrey only through her work, but am terribly sorry to learn this sad news.  She was so caring and professional -- she had a good balance between being compassionate/personal and competent/efficient in her work.    Although I knew her only through the doctor's office, it was obvious she adored her children.  My sympathy goes to all of you who loved her.  Mary L

Audrey was a very proud mother of her 3 beautiful children.  She was a very hard worker and devoted sonographer.  It was an honor to be trained in vascular by someone so intelligent.  She will be sadly missed.
