Barbara Jean Lough

Barbara Jean Lough, 75, Riverside, passed away Oct 16, 2016. Funeral Service is Monday, Oct. 24 at 10:00 AM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 Vivion Road, Kansas City. Visitation at the same location is Sunday from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Barbara was born Oct 8, 1941 to William and Charlotte (Krise) Kirkman in St Joseph, MO. She was a life-long resident of the Northland, working the last 29 years at “The Runaway” in Riverside. She enjoyed various crafts, but her proudest moments were the birth of her children.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Billy Kirkman and Shirley Gutierrez; and her grandsons Matthew Vice and Islam Elkaryoney. Survivors include her children: John Sanchez, Danielle Lough, Robin (Shawn) Griffith, Annette (Tim) Lanter, Douglas Liberty, Christine (John) Davison, Vickie (Russ) Moore, Denise Banning and Cathy Files; 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and friends.
