Bettie K. White, 88, of Prairie Village, Kansas passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012, in St. Charles, MO. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 10th, at McGilley State Line Chapel, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m., with a graveside service at 2:30 p.m., at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, 5445 Parallel Pkwy., Kansas City, KS, 66104, or the Lutheran Senior Services, (St. Louis) Benevolent, 1150 Hanley Industrial Court, St. Louis, MO, 63144 or Hospice Fund.
Bettie was born December 13, 1923 in Logan, Utah. She was a TWA airline stewardess, nurse and legal assistant during her life. She loved to oil paint, read and spend time with her beloved poodle, Bilise.
Bettie is survived by her son, William White of Prairie Village, KS; daughter, Lisa Pelikan (Daniel) of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren, Brittany White, Courtney White, Nick Pelikan and Jake Pelikan.
