Betty Marlene Gore, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away July 29, 2012 at St. Joseph Health Center. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Betty was born August 21, 1936 in Kirksville, Missouri. She retired from Deere and Company in 1986 and owned Gore Appraisal’s until 1994. She is survived by her husband Robert C. Gore; sons Stephen Shearer of Galesburg, Illinois, Spencer Shearer of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and stepson Robert L. Gore. California; daughter Nancy Clark of Tennessee. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was a loving wife and mother, and a dear friend to all she met.
