Betty Jane Ruhl, 90 of Grain Valley, MO died November 14, 2016. Betty was born March 29, 1926 and weighed 2 lbs at birth. She was born in Dunlap, Kansas, daughter of Maude and David Waters. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers, all are deceased. She married Everett Ruhl in 1946 and lived in Kansas City, Mo until 1954 when they bought a farm in Belton, MO. Betty worked for the Belton School System for 33 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, a son, David Lee; grand daughter, Stephanie Johnson and a great grandson, Dalton Johnson. She is survived by son, Mark Ruhl (Pamela); daughter, Nancy Noble; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, November 18, 2016 from 10 am until service time at 11 am at Faith United Methodist Church in Grain Valley, MO. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
