Mrs. Betty S. Thompson was born April 13, 1939, in Kansas City, MO, to Samual E. and Phylis Coleman.
She was a beloved wife, loving mother of 5 children, wonderful grandmother to 18 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. She worked until her retirement at ITS (BNSF Railroad).
She was preceded in death by Samual and Phylis Coleman (Parents), George F. Thompson (Husband), Kay Wilks and Phileda Thomas (Sisters), Mike Walters (Son).
She is survived by her sister Janet Payton (Don) of Appleton City, MO; her children: Terrie Danna of Kansas City, MO, Linda Dunmore (Mike) of Kansas City, MO, James Hubbard (Jess) of Tecumseh, KS, Tabatha Hensley (Jeffrey Sr.) of Kansas City, MO.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, 28 September 2019 at D.W. Newcomer’s Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Kansas city, MO, burial in Sunset Garden.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Friday, 27 September 2019 at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
