

Beverly K. Oxler, 87, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2017. Visitation will be 3-4 pm, Wednesday, July 19 followed by a Memorial Service at 4pm at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO. Beverly was born June 20, 1930 to Esli and Lucille Kenton in Kansas City, Missouri. She lived her entire life in the Kansas City area and graduated from Southwest High School. Beverly worked at her father’s company, Locksmith Supplies.
She loved to travel to Reno and Carson City areas of Nevada. She and Bob traveled to Canada to fish many times and Beverly loved fishing with Bob. She was one of Kansas City’s best women’s bowler and avid tennis player. She loved her home of 50 years in Prairie Village. She took great pride in her house and her wonderful lawn and where she spent many afternoons entertaining friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Gustave Thomas Oxler who passed away in 2000 and whom she had married in 1956. Beverly is survived by her husband, Bob Anderson, a nephew Tom Kenton of Baxter, MN and a niece Cindy of Colorado Springs, CO area.
