Bill was born on November 4, 1936 to the late William Joseph and Eloise McCarty McMahon in Kansas City, Kansas.
Burial of his ashes will be alongside his wife Marea (1939-1993) and will take place at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery in Lenexa, Kansas.
He is survived by sons Bill (Lisa), Craig (Jonna), Ronald, and daughters Eloise (James), and Evelyn (Edward); grandchildren Ryan, Sean, Melanie, Jennifer, Luke, Mickey, Vaughn, Marea, and Matthew; great-grandson Lincoln and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Bill was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament Grade School, Bishop Ward High School, and Rockhurst University. He spent his entire professional career as a Financial Analyst with the Phillips Petroleum Company, retiring in the mid 1990’s. Bill enjoyed spending time with family, classical music, travel, birds and nature. He also coached his sons’ little league baseball teams.
