I just learned today about Billy's passing.  I knew Billy from 1983 until 2007 where we worked together at Bendix/ ... /Honeywell.  

One of my first memories of Billy was the day we met.  He was telling one of his jokes.  Little did I know, I would hear many many more from him.  He always was in a good mood and had that smile on his face.  

We were talking one morning, and he asked me about square dancing, and if I would be interested in joining a club.  I finally went to a dance, and joined the B-Tweens club.  That small step was a large change in my life, because a year later, I met someone at a dance and we have been married 35 years.   

Billy was one of the people I missed after leaving Honeywell to pursue a new direction in my life.  His always positive attitude is something that I have finally achieved, thanks to Billy.

My deepest condolences. I sat across from Billy for many, many years at Bendix/Honeywell in Materials Engineering. He was a wonderful guy to know and work with and I had a front row seat to witness his endless supply of jokes and the ready smile he shared for all he worked with. I don’t think I ever saw him have a bad day or attitude. He was very proud of his family and mentioned you frequently. He will be missed.

I remember when you had lived with us and mom and dad was always so fond of you. Mom would always tell the story of your diamond ring you was going to give her which you did make a "dime ring" and gave her that she absolutely adored. So many memories to share...you will be forever missed cousin Billy.

Thank you Billy for your service to our country. Because of your service all of us are able to live our lives in freedom.

Billy was one of the great guys to work with at Bendix/Honeywell.  He took the extra steps to help resolve problems. But just as important, Billy was fun to work with.  He always had a smile and his pleasant personality was certainly admired by me.  I do remember a period of time when Billy started the morning sharing a groaner of a joke with this co-workers. Many of us would listen in on his telling the joke, but it always solicited groans when he got to the punchline.   
I am sorry for your loss, but know that Billy left good marks in many places.

Billy was one of the really good guys at Honeywell FM&T.   I enjoyed working with him for many years.  

I only met you once at the family rekindle. You and your wife were very nice and kind. My mother said that Grandpa Fred would always say you were the smartest one in the family. My condolences to the Parker family God bless you all. Until we meet again cousin.

Billy was a very productive materials engineer who supported production and development work. He was very customer service minded and treated everyone with a positive attitude. He was very active in his retirement in keeping up on timely communications with the other retired materials and analytical retirees. He will be missed and his family have our condolences and prayers.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Billy's passing.  I worked with Billy in Materials Engineering for 24 years.  He was always very helpful and a great guy.  Billy always had a joke and was fun to be around.  My sincerest sympathy for the family.  You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏

I enjoyed working with Billy at Honeywell.  He always had a cheerful smile and willing to help.  His smile was infectious and always brightened your day when you were in his presence.  He will be missed.  Prayers for the family.


I am so sorry for your loss.  Billy was a great mentor to me during our time at Honeywell.  I will miss his updates on Facebook.  After my retirement, he was my first ex-Honeywell friend on the system.

I worked with Billy at Honeywell for 25 years. Our desks were within several feet of each other. In addition to being an excellent chemist he was a wonderful person that never refused to help me when I needed help. We sat next to each other at the retiree luncheon and discussed the status of our families. He talked about his granddaughter and how much he enjoyed being with her.
I regarded Billy not only as a coworker but as a friend!

Billy was a genuine “Good Guy”.  I worked with Billy, played softball with him in the Allied-Signal Co-ed league and in retirement shared lunch with him and other Materials Engineers.  I will miss seeing and talking with him.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family.   May you be comforted knowing he brought brightness to those who knew him.

Billy always brought a joke and a smile with him wherever he went.  He was a good engineer and a great guy.  I’m sorry to hear he is gone.

Billy and I have been friends since the 7th Grade, at East Jr. High , in Joplin, Mo. We went to school together from then, and all the way through high school.
