Bob Armstrong, 87, passed away September 8, 2014. Bob was born April 29, 1927 in St. Joseph, MO the son of Everett and Marjorie (Baine) Armstrong. On October 24, 1964 he married the love of his life Dixie (Totten) Armstrong. They shared 50 years of marriage together. Bob loved his grandchildren dearly. He was a builder of RC Model airplanes. He volunteered at the WWI Museum and loved to sit on his screened back porch. He is preceded in death by one brother, Everett Armstrong. He leaves behind his wife; one daughter, Diann Counts (Tom); one son, Joe Armstrong (Karen); six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. At the request of Bob Armstrong no services will be held. The family suggest memorial donations be made to the WWI Museum, 100 W. 26th St. KC, MO, 64108 or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the St. Luke’s Hospice House 3516 Summit St, KC, MO 64111.
