Bobby W. West, 70, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 in Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial service will be held Thursday, November 4, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Bobby was born May 31, 1940 in Calendonia, Mississippi, son of William David and Pearl (Butler) West. He was a member of Lee’s Summit United Methodist Church, S.A.R., and retired as a chemist from Thomas J. Lipton. Bobby is survived by his wife Jane (Wilson) West of the home, son William W. West and wife Angela of Denham Springs, Louisiana, daughter Sarah E. Effland and husband Greg of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and sister Lillian Cantrell and husband Lois of Hamilton, Mississippi. Bobby is also survived by three grandchildren, Hannah Effland, Madison Effland and Conneach West and two step grandchildren, Kyle and Megan Maricle, extended family, cousins, and friends.
