Bonnie M. (Cornell) Jackson, 84, of Lenexa, Kansas went to join the Lord and His Kingdom peacefully on October 8, 2015. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., Monday, October 12 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home with funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South.
Bonnie graduated from Southeast High School and spent her career as a homemaker and also had a business career as an office manager, retiring in 1991. Bonnie enjoyed cooking and sewing, as well as being a loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Kenneth, sister Veva, grandson Cass and first born son David. Bonnie leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Charles; sons Daniel and Douglas; daughter Charlene; one brother, three sisters, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Bonnie will be remembered for her goodness of heart and devotion to her family.
