Bob was born on April 23, 1927 in Ridgway, PA to George A. and Kathryn Davin Kinsler.
Bob enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served on the aircraft carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. He returned home from military service and graduated from Emporium High School 1946, attended Saint Bonaventure University in Allegany, New York, then graduated from Bryant Stratton Business School in Buffalo, New York.
Bob began his sales career with Sylvania Electric Products, Inc. in Emporium, PA, concluding with his retirement after over 40 years from Phillips ECG in Kansas City.
Bob married Dorthaleen (Dottie) McRuer on April 8, 1978. She preceded him in death on April 1, 2014.
Bob is survived by; his sister Joanne Gasper of Pittsburgh, PA, brother George E. Kinsler of St. Mary’s, PA; his late wife’s children; Linda Mills of Gladstone, MO and Scott McRuer of Parkville, MO; along with a niece and several cousins.
Bob was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and long-time season ticket holder. He was a lector and usher at Saint Andrew the Apostle Parish, 6415 NE Antioch Road, Gladstone, MO 64119 where his visitation will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday March 1, 2023 followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to either the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, MO or Hillcrest Platte County. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, MO and at Monarch Behavioral Health in Cameron, MO.
