Brenda G White

Brenda G. White, Raytown, Missouri age 72, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at St. Luke’s East Hospital, Lee’s Summit, MO. Brenda was born on November 27, 1952, to Levon and Frances Clark in Kansas City, MO.

Brenda attended Fort Osage High School, Independence, MO and graduated in 1970. She married Gary L. White August 17, 1974. They celebrated 50 years of marriage. During their marriage, they welcomed their daughter Rebecca “Becky” Lynn White in 1981. They lived in several cities: Owensboro, Little Rock, Louisville and Chicago before settling back into the Kansas City area.

Brenda was devoted to caring for her family and her career. She was employed by Commerce Bank and Bannister Bank before she went to work for Quest Labs in Lees Summit, MO where she enjoyed working in the medical records department. Brenda loved fishing, hunting and their trip to Hawaii. She loved cooking up a special dinner to watch the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals games on TV. She loved her daily ritual of watching “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune” also, drinking her Coca-Colas (never Pepsi). She enjoyed crafting and making her Christmas wreaths. She loved being with the grandkids, Kaden and Ashlyn. She loved going to Kaden’s baseball games. She enjoyed shopping on-line.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Levon and Frances Clark and her daughter Becky White.

She is survived by her husband Gary White, Raytown, MO; grandchildren: Kaden and Ashlyn Machamer, Belton, MO; siblings: Gary (Bonnie) Clark, Keytesville, MO; Sherry (Rick) Hershey, Keytesville, MO; Judy (Terry) Hayes, Independence, MO; brother-in-law Ray (Connie) White, Harrisonville, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
