Carol Ann Owens, 61, of Merriam, Kansas, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023. "Beloved of God has returned to the house of the Lord." Daughter of the late Dr. Robert and Mary Dugan Owens, cherished sister of the the late Patrick H. Owens and Robert A. Owens. Survived by Mark (Anne) Owens, Mary (Jim) Thorpe, John (Mary E.) Owens, and Janet (Fred) Wells and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Carol was a deeply loved member of Johnson County Developmental Support Community. Carol was blessed by the care of many loving and extraordinary staff. We would like to give special recognition to Lucy Johnson, her best friend and guardian angel.
The Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, April, 1st in McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO 64145. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of Johnson County Developmental Support at https://friendsofjcds.org/
