Carole was born April 10, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri. She married her high school sweetheart, Harold King on August 31, 1953 in Sedalia, Missouri. They were married for 69 wonderful years, until Harold passed away on June 21, 2023.
Carole worked as a beautician for many years and opened her own beauty shop with her daughter and sister. She was also a realtor with Caldwell Banker and worked at Macy's, as well as Kohl's. She enjoyed interacting with people and always made everyone feel welcome.
Carole was a long time member of Lee's Summit Christian Church. She taught Sunday School, worked in the church daycare, and also served as a Stephen's Minister. She loved Jesus Christ and she loved her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold King, her daughter, Kathy Lee, her parents Earl and Dorothy George, sisters Donna George, Saundra Swope and Jeannie Schulz, brother Ray George, and grandson Danny Osborn.
She is survived by her children Vickie (Bob) Osborn, Gene (Linda) King, and Rick (Connie) King, her grandchildren, Matt (Layla) King, Lori King, Robert (Kory) Osborn, Ryan (Jamie) Osborn and her great-grandchildren Maisie and Kayla King, Lanee and Leah Osborn, and Clark and Lindley Osborn.
She was generous with her love. If you knew her you loved her!
A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133, on April 28, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and a graveside service from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
