Tribute to My Dear Sister-in-Law, Late Mrs Caroline Oluh
It is with a heavy heart that I write this tribute to my dear sister-in-law, Late Caroline Oluh. Her passing has left a deep pain in my heart — a pain born not only from loss, but also from the many moments we never got to share and the conversations we never had.
Caroline was a woman of quiet strength and deep faith. She faced trials in life with remarkable endurance and grace, never losing her sense of hope or her gentle spirit. Though life tested her, she never allowed hardship to define her. Instead, she continued to show love, kindness, and compassion to those around her.
I loved her dearly and will always cherish the memories of her warmth and sincerity. My greatest consolation is that she returned to the Catholic Church before her passing — a homecoming that speaks of God’s mercy and her unwavering faith. She died a communicant, and that gives my heart peace.
Though I did not have the opportunity to know her as deeply as I would have wished, I know she was a good person — one whose heart was anchored in faith and whose soul now rests in the loving embrace of God.
Rest well, dear Aunty Caroline. Your journey on earth has ended, but your faith, courage, and love will forever remain in our hearts.
May your soul rest in perfect peace. Amen
