

Catherine Carol Aliff, age 83, of Louisburg, Kansas, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, at the Louisburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on July 7, 1942, in Carrollton, Missouri, to Zeline and Martha Butler.
Catherine was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Billups Aliff, who passed away in 2020. Catherine and James shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by 10 siblings.
She leaves behind her four children: Ginny Gingles Aliff, David Aliff, Terrie Ellen Weber, and Randall Aliff, two siblings, Mickey Butler and Russell Butler, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Catherine dedicated 26 years of distinguished service to the Kansas City Police Department in Accounting and Purchasing and as Top Civilian Licensing of Private Security. Her career reflected her strong work ethic, honesty, sense of responsibility, and commitment to serving others; qualities that defined her both professionally and personally.
A gathering of celebration for Carol will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Moriah Cemetery, outside of Garden Mausoleum III. The Kansas City Police Department will present honors in recognition of her years of service.
Following the service, the family is invited to gather at Jack Stack Barbeque - Martin City, 13441 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64145, to continue celebrating Carol’s life and legacy.
