Catherine Rose Breeden

She was married to John D Breeden on December 29, 1943 in Gallatin before moving to Kansas City in 1945. She joined the First Baptist Church in Gallatin in 1941 and remained active in Kansas City Baptist Churches teaching preschool children.

Catherine held positions in Social Security and the VA Hospital in Kansas City where she was Administrative Assistant to the hospital Executive Director for 27 years before retiring in 1981.

In 2014 she sold her Kansas City home and relocated to an independent living facility in Indianapolis, IN to be closer to her son, granddaughters and great grand children. She was active & social, kept up with technology (IPad, IPhone, Kindle, Netflix, etc) and had terrific mental ability.

Her husband (JD) preceded her in death (1996), as did her sisters Frances King , Doris Sierzchula, her brother Marvin Teel and her great grandson Michael Jent. Remaining relatives are her sister Carolyn Dolan (Texas), her son Mike; his wife Pat; two granddaughters Renee Jent (husband Brian), Kristy Powell (husband CR) and five great grand children; Logan & Aiden Jent, Hazel, Olivia & Charlie Powell. She leaves many nieces, nephews and friends (both in Kansas City and at Marquette Manor in Indianapolis).
