Catherine M. Molinari, 91, born March 20, 1930 in Kansas City, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Oxford Grand. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, with visitation starting 8:30 AM, Saturday, June 12th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Dr. Kansas City, MO 64118; burial follows services in Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
Catherine was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. For 30 years she was coordinator of St. Charles Hospital Ministry bringing communion weekly to Catholic patients in the North Kansas City Hospital, local nursing homes, and the home-bound. In 1991, she was presented the Bishop John J. Sullivan award for her charitable works.
Catherine will be remembered as the heart of her family, a loving mother, devoted wife, and doting grandmother. She had a flair for fashion, decorating and cooking. She had an affinity for music and loved to play the piano.
She loved God and Jesus Christ with her whole being and found Jesus in all people she met.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, John and Concetta (Palmisano) Calorino; husband, Theodore "Ted" Molinari; daughter, Diane Prather; and son-in-law, Thomas Prather.
Survivors include her children, Marilyn Needham, Linda (Ralph) Hackett, Barbara (Mark) Greer, Joe (Jennifer) Molinari, and Angela (Kurt) Schell; 12 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
