Charles J. Byrom

Charles J. Byrom, 78, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2012. Charles was born January 24, 1934 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Roy and Bula (Looney) Byrom. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 21 years. He worked several years as a Chiropractor in Platte County and later retired from the Kansas City Missouri Water Department. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Bobby Byrom and Joe Dean Noland. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Anna Byrom of the home; son, Charles Byrom of Anaheim, CA; daughter, Susan Caron (Mike) and granddaughters, Elizabeth and Rachael of Excelsior Springs, MO; 1 brother, James Byrom (Rosemary) and 5 sisters, Donna Brown, Marsha Bergman (Mike), Glenda Smallwood (Ronald), Barbara Carson (Ron) and Lyla Rae Gann (Danny).

Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. followed by service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 26 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home. Burial at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to NorthCare Hospice House; 2800 Clay Edward Dr; North Kansas City, MO 64116.
