

Charles was born on June 22nd, 1932 in Vienna New York. Born and raised in New York, he was one of 9 children born to Ruben and Eva Dibble. His parents were farmers, so he worked from a very young age. Charles joined the Army at 20 years old. He served in Korea during the Korean War and received a Bronze Star for saving a wounded fellow solider on battlefield.
After his service, Charles worked at National Auto Store for 17 years. He was married to his first wife Mary (Barletta) for 32 years. They had 4 children together and the family moved to Kansas City in 1972. He worked at many jobs over the years, and retired in 2015 from Highleah Townhouses, where he worked as a maintenance man.
Charles is preceded I death by his first wife, Mary Barletta, his second wife Mary, third wife Dixie Breckenridge, father Ruben Dibble, mother Eva Deely, brothers; Orville, Larry and Lynn, and sisters; Evlyn, Florence, and Mary.
He is survived by his sisters Alice and Delma, children; Debbie(Art), Charlene(John), Eva and Kevin, grandchildren; Rachel, Jessi, Morgan, Robby, Mary Ellen, Sarah, Laura, A.J., AGGIE, and Darcie, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa, and great grandpa. He was very much loved and he will be greatly missed.
