Charles Michael (Mike) Pryor, born May 11, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri, passed away suddenly on March 13, 2013 in Overland Park, Kansas. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Asbury Methodist Church, 5400 West 75th Street, Prairie Village, Kansas. Mike will be remembered as a kind and generous soul whose family and friends meant everything to him. He enjoyed traveling and creating memories with the people he loved. His lifelong passion for cars began at his father’s car dealership, Motor City. A graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School, he earned his degree in journalism at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas, where he met the love of his life, Margie. Mike was employed by AT&T for 25 years. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Max and Ursula Pryor. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marjorie (Nothdurft) Pryor, two children, Amy Michelle Welgos (Scott) and Mark Lawrence Pryor, and two grandchildren, Cadence Ursula Welgos and Addison Michelle Welgos.
