Charles “Chuck” William Shephard, 75, of Greenwood, Missouri passed away January 30, 2017. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 3, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, with full Military Honors.
Chuck was born June 23, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri son of Oliver and Dorothy (Davis) Shephard. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He married Sharon Wetona Baldwin on February 15, 1974 at the First Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Chuck had worked at Pfizer for 30 years, retiring in January of 2005. He loved anything to do with cars – drag racing, hot rods and he enjoyed NASCAR, favorite driver was Dale, Jr. He played golf and dabbled in landscaping.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother James Shephard. Chuck is survived by wife of 42 years Sharon Shephard of the home, children William and wife Kasi, Michele Shephard and Kenneth Stidham and wife Sheila, and grandchildren Preston, Hayden, Bryna Shephard and McKenzie and Liam Stidham.
