Charles R. Ward, 79, of Raymore, MO, passed away November 10, 2015. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 13, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Charles was born May 7, 1936 in Blairstown, MO, son of Ray and Dorothy (Davis) Ward. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He had worked at Gill Studio for 45 years. He was a Baptist by faith. Charles is survived by his wife Janet Ward; daughter Kerri Messick, her husband Dan, and two granddaughters Ashley and Nicole of Omaha, NE; son Ernie Ward; two brothers Jerry and wife Neva Ward of Polo, MO and Donald and wife Betty of Pleasant Hill, MO; nephew Bryan McBride; extended family and friends.
