Cheryl Sutcliffe

Cheryl was born on October 8th, 1945 to Frank and Lorene Arbuckle. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness touched everyone she met. Cheryl had a way of making people feel at home – whether through her warm smile, her thoughtful advice, and for being the life of the party.

She loved gardening, her animals, traveling, sports and cheering the loudest at her grandchildren’s events. Above all, Cheryl cherished time with her family and friends. Her strength showed up in the people around her.

Cheryl’s love, strength, and gentle spirit will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Lorene Arbuckle, and grandchildren; Tyler Davis and Kelly Mason.

She is survived by daughters; Dana Sutcliffe and Sherri Sutcliffe, sons; Bobby (Terri) Sutcliffe, Rick (Robin) Sutcliffe, and Terry (Dru) Sutcliffe, grandchildren; Krosbie (Brayden) Bohn, Paris Sutcliffe, Kinlie (Dalton) Haynes, Sami Sutcliffe, Amber (Chad) Jones, Michele (Skyler) Rupard, Micayla Rupard, Shelby Sutcliffe, Kimberly (Phil) Bybee, and Randy Sutcliffe, great grandchildren; Colson Haynes, Conner Jones, Landon Jones, Ryder Benson, Austin Benson, Levi Bybee, and Willow Bybee, sibling; Steve (Karen) Arbuckle and Gayle (Lonnie) Burgess.

Services will be held Tuesday, January 27th at Grace United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit. Visitation will start at 10:00am, with the funeral service at 11:00am. A graveside service at Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens will follow.
