CHRISTINE ANN HOLLOWAY Tina Holloway passed away the morning of May 8, 2015, at the age of 62. She was born in Kansas City, MO, the youngest of 7 children, to Myron and Carie Stevens. She was the poet, writer of the family. She never met a stranger, she would offer help to anyone that needed assistance. She was loved by many. After graduating from Southwest High School she started her insurance career with the New Hampshire Insurance Company. From there she went to work at Fiss Clogston Insurance Agency, St Paul Insurance Company (Travelers), Lockton Insurance Agency and ended her career at Thomas McGee Insurance Agency in 2002 due to health reasons. She was a past president of Insurance Association of Suburban Kansas City in 1992-93, she was the first runner up in 1974 National Insurance Women Operation Lace speaking contest. She earned the Certified Professional Insurance Women Designation. She also earned Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1993. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Myron (Mike) Stevens Jr. Survivors include her sons, Todd Holloway (Sarina), Olathe, KS and Michael McQuilliam, Newton, KS; grandchildren: Kelsea Holloway, James Holloway, Kyleigh Holloway and Camden McQuilliam; surviving siblings: Robert (Sherry) Stevens, Wichita, KS, Dorothy (Jim) Hermans, Kansas City, MO, Carol Stevens, Kansas City, MO, Betty Jo (Dale) Coleman, Kansas City, MO, and Edward (Margaret) Stevens, Belton, MO, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Visitation is planned for Monday, May 11, 2015, 6:00-8:00pm, at Floral Hills. Graveside service will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Floral Hills, with a Celebration of Life at the family home starting at 3:00pm.
