Christine C. LaMont, 91, of Leawood, Kansas, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Entombment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Garden of Faith Mausoleum. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 2400 Troost Avenue, Suite 4300, Kansas City, Missouri 64108. Mrs. LaMont was born May 8, 1920 in Chillicothe, Missouri, daughter of Arthur and Coral (Davis) Caddell. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Memphis, Missouri. She loved to cook, travel to Las Vegas, go to the local casinos, and spend time with her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 65 years Charles E. LaMont in 2007, and sister Marion Spangler. Mrs. LaMont is survived by her daughter Sharon and husband Ted; granddaughters Debbie and Christy; and great-grandchildren Dawson, Kolbie, Charlie and Will.
