I am so grateful to have had Chris in my building. There were so many times when I struggled and would go down to her room and she helped me with open arms. Zero judgement. Only support and that sweet lil laugh of hers. She loved her content and students with all of her heart. And her work ethic, WOWZA! Bless you sweet lady.

So many memories of college and fun times with long talks and laughter. I can't tell all the memories but going dancing at the village and Louis and the summertime fun were just some of them. just a bunch of crazy girls living and loving life. We had a blast living together at BG. I cherish those memories. Chris was always smiling and laughing. Tina and Jules ,Chris and I were a great group of friends. We saw each other through some hard times and laughed together. I always admired her artistic talents and math theory classes that boggled my mind. I love you Chris. My friend.

Chris was one of the first people I made friends with when I started my teaching career. It was a challenging first year of teaching, and she was so wonderful to offer a listening ear and ideas/support for my classroom. Her high expectations for kids and her willingness to go to the ends of the earth to help them learn inspired me, and she has never wavered from that dedication. I was so excited when she got the chance to move to the high school, and she has impacted so many lives there. In the midst of her cancer battle, she has remained so optimistic and positive, and I have learned so much from her. She has remained a cheerleader and source of support over the years, and I love hearing her stories about raising two girls especially now that I have two of my own. She is always concerned for others before herself, and I have and will continue to treasure our visits over these last couple of years. I love you my friend!

From the moment I met you my sophomore year of college I knew that you were unlike any other mom I had met. Nichole and I became friends in college and when I met you, I knew where Nichole got her giant heart and positive spirit. Your smile is absolutely contagious and lights up any room and no matter what your situation, you’ve been able to see the good and positive through it all. Chris, you are one of the strongest woman I have had the honor of knowing and your two amazing daughters share that same strength, beauty and light in the world. 
From lake trips, to house hangouts and game nights like our Friendsgiving “bean boozled” game - yuck lol! - those memories I have shared with you and the girls are forever in my heart and such a blessing! Love you all - thoughts, prayers and love sent your way always 💕

You are such an inspiration to me. You showed me the way to strength and grace in my cancer journey. You are truly amazing, beautiful an so positive. 
I am so grateful for the memories we have from years past. I will always remember the big red van, the traffic cone and the fine Pilsner we bought at the drive thru. A special place for me is Kellys Island. My fondness started because of the wonderful times we had with you and your family. Six Voltz will always mean happiness and love. You are such a wonderful mom that has raised two beautiful daughters, just like you. I think of you every day and it gives me peace to know you are so loved. God bless you!! I love you!

Chrissy, my childhood best friend and sister! Oh how we had fun as kids playing hide and seek in Dr Meeker's bushes, and roller skating, dodge ball in his parking lot. The Chinese jump rope, beauty pageants galore, and oh the Barbie sessions at your house! I think between us, we must have had every Barbie car, plane, camper, etc that was out at the time. How I miss those times and the giggles we shared. I still thank God often for you and the rest of my "adopted" family. I had the best childhood and sisters around! Love you all!
Oh, and I don't remember exactly what this game was, but see if you and your sisters remember this: I'm going downtown to smoke my pipe and I won't be back till Saturday night... if the old witch catches you... I'll spank you with my old rubber shoe, so I'll leave the key with you....

Chrissy, I sure have missed you since you moved to KC. You will always be in some of my fondest memories. We had tons of fun back in the day! From Firelands, to all the weekend fun. We danced up a storm at The Village like it was our job. I’ll never forget doing shots of butterscotch schnapps with your grandparents🥴 we usually stuck to peppermint for fresh breath😜. Your mom and dad were so great to all of us. I’ll also never forget packing the house on the island every summer. I know you’ve been fighting the good fight and I am in awe of your strength. Chris, it has been many years since I have seen your pretty smile. I wasn’t aware of your battle until a short time ago. When I think of you I think of fun times at the Village or Angelo’s. Have told my kids the story of letting you use my ID and having them take it! I had to go to Perkin’s police station to pick it up!! Your family taking on hosting all of us kids at Kelly’s. What fun we had ! My prayers for you and your family at this difficult time. Know that I send you hugs and my love. Thank you for being a great friend. 😘

Chris, you came into my life many years ago at firelands college. It was like high school all over again but with new classmates. Me, you, Lisa, Jules, Anne and many more who we shared fun times with. We used to dance at the bar in the mall (the name has slipped my mind). Your birthday came late so you were not old enough to get in. We would get our hand stamped and then go outside to the parking lot and show you what stamp to use. You had a whole bag full of different stamps. It worked every time. We loved to dance. Later on the Village Rendezvous was our stomping grounds. Once again we just loved to dance, and dance we did. I can remember sharing a room with you when we went off to Bowling Green. I was always impressed with your intelligence. You are such a math whiz .I remember the chevette you drove. You let me drive it once during a snowstorm and we were lucky to make it home in one piece. Thank you for the wonderful memories. One day we will all be dancing together again. Love you my dear friend.

Christine, you have always been one of the most positive, cheerful, listening, caring individuals I have had the honor of being with. You have fought a long, hard battle - one that many of us will have to fight one day or (as your daughters have so lovingly done for you) walk beside a loved one who is fighting the same battle. But we know that even though all of us will one day lose the battle, Jesus has already won the war. May you put your hope and trust in that victory! For any who choose His side, win in the end. Know you are loved!

Chrissy....there are soooo many memories throughout our younger years that even though it's been years since we've seen each other or have talked, when I see you it seems like yesterday. Hanging out at your house after practice, getting ready for dances (remember the cramp dance?? 
LOL). Sitting in your kitchen, talking to your Mom and Dad. I remember Cindy's wedding. I just found an old letter you wrote me in college in some papers I saved from school. You've always been such a happiness in my life. Your sweet smile and laugh. It's always there, Everytime I see your picture. I pray for you and your family everyday. I love you my Sweet Friend ❤️

Chris, your smile, your positive energy, your soft giggle… always turned my day around.   I miss you terribly, Dear Friend.  You will forever hold a piece of my heart.  Rest now, for your fight is over.  I see your beauty and peace in every butterfly that stops by to visit me.  Until we meet again, my friend….

Dear Chris,
What can I say except that you were the real deal… a super hero in my eyes.  You were a loving daughter, superb mother, giving wife, wonderful friend, excellent educator, creative artist and caring dog owner…just an all-around exceptional human being.
I believe God always has a plan and I believe he placed you on this earth, as one of his angels, to keep the rest of us “heathens” in line.  You role-modeled continual love, integrity, faith, forgiveness, loyalty, kindness, a strong work-ethic, courage, resilience and a friendship that can’t be compared or replaced.  Yes, you are His angel sent to guide us through the rough and good times, to show us righteousness and to lead us.  
I have many memories of us throughout our 20-year friendship.   There can’t be a better friend than you were.  You always made me laugh, encouraged me to reflect, showed me how to be a better teacher, taught me to see the bright side when I thought there wasn’t one, lent me a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen, pushed me to keep going when I wanted to quit and showed me how to remain positive (your super strength) in the light of turbulent times.  When the world seemed to turn in on you...you always behaved with class and grace.  A behavior I admired most in you.   
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I immediately turned to you for guidance.  Chris, you were special when it came to providing strength to others inflected with this horrible disease.  You helped me through the roughest of days and continued to do so throughout my treatment.  As I followed your fight with your breast cancer, I saw a brave woman that loved life to its fullest and resigned to never give that monster, cancer, a sign of defeat.  A message I take to heart.  Because of you and your role modeling you provided a guidebook for never giving up!  
Until we meet again… I love you Chris, my sister, and will always look up for your guidance.

Life is far too short not to “cherish every moment.”  My dear friend since first grade, Jenny, allowed me to share in so many wonderful memories with her and her mother.  No matter what it was, Girl Scouts, dance recitals, or volleyball Ms. Lieb was front and center supporting us and cheering us on.  Family game nights, the endless amount of crafts, “snacky trays”, and countless sleepovers were as special as they were because of Ms. Lieb and her fun loving spirit.  She had a way of making me feel so loved and included when I was with her and her family.  Growing up Jenny was always hesitant to have sleepovers away from home.  It used to be such a rarity for her to sleep the whole night at my childhood home.  Sometimes even switching the sleepover to her house in the middle of the night, I would pack my bag and ms. Lieb would come and pick us both up.  Something kind of quirky and funny in hindsight.  But when I think back on this aspect of Jenny and her mother’s relationship my heart smiles so big!  God always has a plan.  While Ms. Lieb’s years of being a mother were cut short, the quality of the years she did live out were SO full of love and quality time.   Ms. Lieb was THE sleepover queen, THE cheerleader of Jenny and I’s friendship and activities, she was always there.  I am so thankful and blessed to have had this time with her.  RIP Ms. Lieb I can’t wait to see you again! ❤️ Love to all

I never met this wonderful woman but am lucky enough to be friends with one of Chris’s  daughters and one of Chris’s best friends. Hearing story’s and seeing pictures posted on Facebook you could just tell she was an amazing woman. She seemed to Always have a smile on her face and tried to live life to the fullest no matter how bleak her reality really was. 
Chris you are loved by many. Your legacy will live on through your daughters and your friends. Rest easy now knowing that you did a wonderful job in the short time you were here. 

I was Chris’s teacher at SMCC   She was a senior my first year of teaching.  She made an instant and indelible impression on me. She was so bright and so enjoyable to be around   I later was able to work with her when she taught at SMCC. She was a phenomenal teacher. 
I loved her and will miss her.  She was a great person who lived life to the fullest!

I had the gift of working in Chris's math class observing her faith in the belief everyone will learn. Dedication to teaching young adults was a constant companion to her dedication and love of family. We will miss her wry smile that preceded her robust laughter, and we are blessed to carry in our hearts her gracious spirit. 

My sister Chris, I will miss you every day until we meet again. You are my hero for your strength. Your smile lit up everyone's day.  I will always remember your silly laugh. I could not ask for a better sister and friend.  You raised two awesome daughters who are strong young women.  I am proud to be your sister.  Thank you for all of the wonderful memories.
