Connie was an amazing friend who was always there to lend an ear and share a laugh.  We became friends while working together and kept in touch afterwards.  When I left KC in September I stopped by to visit with her and still remember her contagious laugh.  She and I would always get to laughing so hard.  

Connie will be greatly missed.  May God bless your family.

I will miss Connie so and am so sad.  She was a dear friend.  We shared many good times, birthdays, Thanksgivings and Christmases together.  She and Drew were my neighbors when I lived at the Orchards Condos.

My deepest sympathy to Connie's son Drew, her family and friends.  Connie and I worked together at Mutual Mortgage years ago and we would continue to get together each year on her birthday on the PATIO at Fred P Ott's.  It was so good to see everyone in the business and compare where we all were and celebrate Connie's birthday.  I will miss her wit and  laughter and how she always looked her best. God has received such a special person and I feel blessed to have known her and the time with her here on earth.

Although I have not seen Connie since High School,she at Center, me at Southwest, we became fast friends.  She was a very special person to me.We enjoyed early morning horseback rides, movies and game rivalries.

May she now rest in eternal bliss with God.

So sad to lose Connie.  She was a sweet friend from Blenheim Elementary & Southeast High School, then we renewed our friendship only a few months before she became ill.  I'll always remember Connie as the beautiful girl with that cute sense of humor.  My deepest sympathy to Drew, Carla, and all her family & friends.

Connie was such a beautiful lady full of wit and faith in her heavenly Father. And those blue eyes-full of sparkle and life.  May God wrap His loving arms around Drew, her beloved son always in Connie's conversation, whom she  was so proud and loved very much.Rightfully so. Also, for Carla and her family, may God hold them tight with His love and fond memories of the Porterfield family.

Thanks to all the Ladies of the Castle who shared their love for Connie in her final days.  May God bless each and every one of them as He did Connie.

Your light will shine forever in my heart!

Connie is the most mature of my friends in age, but the absolute youngest where it matters most...the heart. We would talk, laugh and cut up for hours on the phone. She taught me how to laugh through pain, because crying would mess up our mascara...oh how I will miss that sense of humor. My life will be forever changed without you girlfriend. I respected and adored you in countless ways. My beautiful friend inside and out....I will miss you severly!  I wish I could hear your voice one last time telling me what a kick you're getting out of the new set of wings...you'd probably laugh and say they're the best accessory you've ever had. Again, I love your my dear sweet friend.

To the family: May the lord comfort and keep you at this time.

I will always remember Connie's wit and pretty blue eyes.  My deepest sympathy to the family.  May she rest in peace now free of pain and suffering. Although I can't be there physically, I am there in spirit with all of our longtime girlfriends.
