He graduated from Climax Springs High School in 1957. He worked for Montgomery Ward until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Margie Reed and Bonnie Groom..
He is survived by 1 daughter, Trinda Jennings; 1 grandson, Cody Jennings; 1 great granddaughter. Kennedy Jennings; 2 brothers, Lee (Mary) Roark and Rick (Edie) Roark; 2 sisters, Joan (Kenny) Wheeler and Jane (Ed) Robertson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation with Military Honors will be held from 1-3 PM on Saturday, October 10, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
