Daniel Rios

Daniel Rios, 74, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at home surrounded by his family. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 am Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at the Redemptorist Fathers Catholic Church 3333 Broadway Kansas City, Missouri followed by burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery 38th & State Ave Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the McGilley Midtown Chapel 20 W. Linwood Blvd. Kansas City, Missouri where the rosary will be prayed at 7:00p.m.

Daniel was born on January 3, 1931 in Kansas City, Kansas to Isaac and Josefina (Leon) Rios. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, and retired from the Ford Motor Company in October of 2002. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Alexander Rios, and grandson; Nick Dattilo. Survivors include; his wife of 24 years Alois (Powers) Rios; five sons; Danny and Randy Rios, Larry, Anthony, and David Ewing; four daughters; Mona Dattilo, Connie Dowling, Melody Rios, and Lisa Brimer and three sisters; Aurora Garcia, Elvira Briones, and Linda Reyes. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory 13 Grandchildren.
