Visitation will be Friday, May 4, 2018 at 9:00 AM followed by the funeral/graveside services at 10:00 AM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
Darlene was born July 5, 1936 in Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mable Walton and two sisters, Lavon Test and Blanche Harding. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Allen of Butler, MO.
She is especially survived by her husband of 64 years, Clyde Thompson of Adrian, MO, son Michael Thompson and wife Bonne’ of Altoona, PA and daughter, Beverly Perez of Overland Park, KS. Grandchildren, Dusten Thompson and wife Bernadette of Altoona, PA, Darren Thompson and wife Lexi of Philadelphia, PA, Doreen Luther and husband Tony of Altoona, PA, Mason Perez of Overland Park, KS and Nicholas Perez of Overland Park, KS. Great grandchildren Mercedes Thompson, Marah Thompson, Morgan Thompson, Brianna Luther, Damian Luther and soon to arrive twin Thompson girls.
