Darren is preceded in death by his mother; Gay Dean (VanZant) Durbin; father, David Lee Wilson; and step-mother, Chrissy Wilson; and best canine buds, Roxy, Wiz and Milo.
Darren is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Delehant) Wilson; step-father, Kenny Durbin; step-daughters, Alexandra (Merkle) Ostendorf and Chelsea Merkle; step-brother, Glen Dyson; and grandchildren; Otto, Kira, Clay, Harley and Baylor. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; great nieces and great nephews; and many friends.
Darren served his country in the United States Army, 7th Infantry, from 1987-1991.
Darren worked most of his adult life as a printer. He loved all things outdoors, including hunting, fishing and camping. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs. Darren was a man of few words but loved with all of his heart. He was a dear friend to many and will truly be missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Mike Onka Community Hall, 11520 Putnam Street, Sugar Creek, MO 64054 on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
