David Robert Butler, 65, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015. He was born October 14, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri. David was a passionate man who enjoyed the great outdoors and making people laugh. His personality was as big as his heart. He loved and adored his daughter and grandchildren. Family and friends were very important to him. Once a friend, always a friend.
He was preceded in death by his mother Elsie Earline Butler. He is survived by his daughter Melissa L. Foley and husband Ryan of Cumming, Georgia; grandchildren Kyle, Molly and Clare Foley; brother Steve Butler and sister Sue Butler, both of Kansas City, Missouri.

The family will receive friends at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri for a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 19.
