We will miss our Buzzy Bee.  Amanda, Bailty & Moly nicknamed their Uncle Dave this form a game he played with them!  We remember him as always smiling, laughing & telling stories.. His stories were usually about work, which loved!  Dave was kind & good to Carol, pulling off a fun surprise birthday party complete with dancing!  He was involved with our extended family, attending sporting events, church, reunions, birthdays & weddings.  Rory & Dave enjoyed golfing at Tomahawk & Riverwoods; luckily hanging out mattered more than the score!  Dave loved visiting us in AL where he would relax on the deck or at the lake with a Rob Roy, a cigarette & Rory's wings (or a bologna sandwich)!  We also made a couple of fun trips all together to the gulf!  The years rolled on with Dave gaining a son-in-law (& one on the way!), a daughter-in-law, & 5 grandchildren that made his face light up when they entered the room!  Our favorite memory in recent years was the May 2015 Royals game in which Dave was surrounded by family doing what he loved most, wathing sports!  We can rejoice that Dave is free at at and walking again, with the Lord!

 I have so many memories of my husband, Dave. I loved our trips. The one to Germany to see Brock, Army, and then traveled to Italy( Rome). We went on an Alaskan cruise..so much fun. Our Colorado trip, and the many Lincoln trips. Our travels to see grandchildren. I also have fond memories of the trips with the children when younger to Branson, Alabama, and Disney world in FL.      Dave loved his sports... Royals, MU, Chiefs, but he especially loved attending his children's sporting events. He went to his boys baseball,football, and basketball games and the girls swim meets,basketball,soccer,and volleyball games. He volunteered as a coach,and we worked most swim meets together.  He was a kind man. He Loved to visit with the neighbors and even strangers!    He loved his job as an insurance agent and financial advisor.  His last few years he spent battling many health issues, including memory loss,brain tumor, stroke and then lung cancer. He is no longer suffering in pain. Our family will miss him so much.
