David G. Smith, 69, of Overland Park Kansas, passed away at his home, Wednesday, July 27th, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Dave was born on July 16 1942, raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended North Kansas City High School. Dave was married to his wife Sondra for 46 years and is survived by his two daughters Nicole Smith and Erica Kauffman. Dave also leaves behind his granddaughter Easton, Grandson and best friend Collin, his two nephews Mark King and Ricky Crosswait, and son-in-law Zack Kauffman. Dave will be remembered VERY fondly by his friends and associates. Dave was a gung-ho Marine up until the very end. Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, Mt.
